Silver Gait Farms

Silver Gait Farms is located in Corbin, Kentucky and is dedicated to producing quality registered Tennessee Walking Horses that the entire family can enjoy, we selectively breed for horses with the following traits.

1. The health and soundness of our horses is more important then performance, we strive to breed horses that are structurally sound and free of genetic disorders.

2. A natural ability to perform a smooth running walk that the breed has been characterized by since the late 1800's

3. A calm and willing disposition that is easy to control and eager to learn

4. conformation, it is our personal preference that a walking horse should have hooked back legs with a short back that ties into large sloped shoulders and a long arched neck with a refined head.

These traits combined consistently produce horses that are smooth to ride, easy to handle, quick to learn and built to last.
